It is DONE! After 5 months I've finally got around to finishing this up. I can't tell you how sorry and embarrassed I am about making you wait this long
I hope you like it, though!
I changed the original idea around a bit since I was struggling so much (apparently I'm not so great at painting forests D: ) but I tried to keep the general gist of it the same.
Really happy with how the background turned out! All thanks to having an excellent stock photo for a reference ^^ The grass/moss? was also very fun to paint :3 Looking forward to the next time I can draw some.
Photoshop CC, 5-6 hours on this attempt, 20-30+ hours for all attempts combined.
Brushes I used mainly: Fancypants and the grass brush, from fav.me/d78l26q and fav.me/d7gs3fi

woahhh so crazy amazing almost looks like one of those fancy color printed manga / comic pages. I love it. i bet this would be balls epic in the flesh (paper in this case?)
