..for a consistent method of drawing fur

I wanted to do a fur tutorial a couple days ago but when I tried, I realized that I didn't have any steps to really follow, that it was all done via experimentation.
Soo I set out on discovering within myself a way that I could explain, and finally, after this drawing, I think i'm getting somewhere with it.
I drew this as a sort of last resort. I tried drawing fur all day long and it became very frustrating since it wasn't turning out how I wanted.
I've still got more practice to do today, godspeed.
Don't mind the background, I know es poopy.
